The morning of the storm I was in a tent and it was rocking the tent about a fair bit – although well within it’s limits. The Hilleberg has space for two sets of poles to be inserted at once and I had ordered an extra set which arrived the afternoon before this.

I took it down shortly after these videos as the wind was due to approximately double in strength from what I was experiencing at this point and I wasn’t comfortable the tent would be OK.

I moved into a wooden lodge, which survived fine with just a little roof damage. Many other places didn’t though.
